The Purchase Order Management module works in conjunction with the Warehouse module and allows for the creation and maintenance of purchase orders.

Purchase Orders are constructed in one of two ways, through the Proposed Orders program which builds a spreadsheet of purchasing recommendations from location needs and warehouse par levels, or from manual entry of inventory items on a line by line basis.

Since this module interacts with the inventory and bid modules in FoodPro, items ordered are validated and current pricing is displayed from the vendors contracted bid.

The Purchase Order Management module also allows for receiving against the PO, whereby the items are displayed on the screen in the same order as they were entered on the PO. This saves time and increases the accuracy of data entry.
